Overview of UnixWare 7 NonStop Clusters Patches and Supplements

How to transfer Supplements from a DOS system to a UNIX system and create diskettes for UNIX on a DOS system

I'm having problems downloading an SCO Supplement using my web browser.

For: UnixWare 7 NonStop Clusters Release 7.1.0

Description: This SLS corrects localization problems found with SCOadmin messages on UnixWare 7 NonStop Clusters Release 7.1.0.

Before this correction, if UnixWare 7 NonStop Clusters was installed on a non-English locale system, SCOadmin applications that had been modified with new messages and test strings would not have opened at all, or would have shown errors when attempting to display the messages.

Description: This SLS addresses the following issues:

1. Selecting "Last Node" or "Favored Node" as the restart policy within the Keepalive Configuration Manager (KCM), previously resulted in start scripts that would not start the configured daemon.

2. Users are now allowed to add snmp agents, which will connect to the cluster-wide smux daemon, without recompiling the smux daemon with knowledge of the snmp agent.

Description: This SLS addresses the following problems:

1. NIS users are unable to log in on a UnixWare 7 NIS client when bound to a SunOS 4.1.4 NIS master. Logins at the console hang indefinitely, and telnets fail with the error: "telnetd: unable to invoke login scheme" 2. With the NIS package installed, getgrnam() and getgrgid() were failing with large /etc/group files (> 200 entries in one group). 3. With the NIS package installed, several OS commands fails when /etc/group file has many users (>200) in one group.

SLS ptf7641a extended mc01 to interface correctly with the sdi_timeout mechanisms, and modifies default timeouts to allow changer operations to complete without error. SLS ptf7641d additionally addresses the following issues: - The system panics when running multiple 'mccntl' commands. - mccntl -E fails to operate correctly (multi-drive tape changer).

3. Support for network installation of Unixware 7.1.1 using PRO/1000 Adapters.
