SCO Skunkware Component Licenses

Licenses used by SCO Skunkware components include or are similar to:

Many of the components are "freeware" with no restrictions on their redistribution. Some components may restrict their use to non-commercial purposes or require a license fee for commercial use (e.g. MBROLA). Some components may be redistributed with special permission from the author(s) as is the case with KISDN.

To determine the licensing conditions for a particular component, see the corresponding source archive at either OpenServer 5 and UnixWare 7 Skunkware source or OpenServer 6 Skunkware source.

As a convenience, a list of components and their licenses has been prepared based on the information in the RPM spec file for that component.
