The Fall 2004 City-to-City Tour stopped in 12 cities throughout North America and gave partners a chance to meet with SCO sales, product and technical contacts. For those partners who did not attend SCO Forum or who weren't able to attend each breakout session, the City-to-City Tour offered the training they need to get a jump-start on selling SCO products in the coming year.
Each attendee learned about SCO's current and upcoming product releases including SCO OpenServer and SCO OpenServer Legend, SCO UnixWare, SCOoffice Server and SCO Smallfoot. Attendees were also invited to stay for an extra technical session, SCOoffice Server Configuration. Through demonstrations, they learned SCOoffice Server 4.1 pre-installation tasks including installation, account administration, back-up and restore, anti-virus and anti-spam configuration and general troubleshooting.
SCO's product roadmap is packed with product and releases in 2004 and 2005, and now each partner has access to the presentations from the City-to-City Tour to prepare to sell and implement these products.
