UnXis Rebranding Certification Program (RCP)

This program is available to UnXis authorized Distributors and channel partners who are direct customers of major OEM suppliers of computer systems. The channel partner purchases computer system components and then assembles a "White Box" system using their own model name and model number. If the original OEM has Certified a specific Server Board, the channel partner can re-certify the same system using this program.

Currently this program is only available for Customers of Intel, Inc. If your company purchases Server Boards, Chassis, and other components from Intel or an Intel distributor for rebranding by your company, UnXis can make it simple to certify your company's rebranded servers in the UnXis Hardware Database.

Having your product listed as UnXis Certified means that should any reproducible problem arise after your sale to the customer, UnXis and the OEM will work together towards a resolution of the problem.

When Intel certifies a server board for UnXis, it is posted in the UnXis Hardware Database. When the server board is listed in the UnXis Hardware Database, your company can assemble a complete system using this server board and submit information produced by the UnXis System Certification Tests to UnXis for listing. Intel provides a publication to Intel direct customers that will list a token adjacent to the server boards that have been certified by Intel on UnXis operating system platforms. On the submission that you supply to UnXis, the use of that token will allow you to list the complete system under your company name and the model number you have selected to identify this system.

While you are not required to re-test this system, you are required to install the target UnXis operating system(s) that you wish to list the server under, install the UnXis System Certification Tests (SCT), and fill in the required information fields. A file will be produced by the SCT and that file will be uploaded to UnXis and used to publish the system in the UnXis Hardware Database.
