Java^TM 2 Standard Edition v. 1.4.2_03 for SCO UNIX Operating Systems

The Java^TM 2 Standard Edition (J2SE) for SCO UNIX Operating Systems is a powerful runtime deployment environment and software development kit that is portable, object-oriented, platform independent, and especially well suited for developing Internet-, web-, and web services-enabled applications. The J2SE includes the Java source compiler, interpreter and virtual machine, dynamic compilers, classes, and documentation, and is licensed to all appropriate UnixWare 7 and SCO OpenServer Release 5 licensees.

J2SE 1.4.2_03 for SCO UNIX is a full implementation of the Sun Microsystems^TM Java 2 Platform - the technology and environment described in the Sun^TM specifications of the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition, v. 1.4.2. It is the J2SE implementation available in the media kits for UnixWare 7 Release 7.1.4 and SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 Maintenance Pack 3.
