Java Technologies on SCO Systems
Java Development Kit 1.1-1
The Java Development Kit (JDK) is a powerful development environment that
is portable, object-oriented, platform independent, and especially well suited
for developing Internet-enabled applications. The JDK includes the Java
compiler, interpreter, classes, and documentation and is licensed to
all UnixWare and OpenServer licensees.
JDK 1.1-1 is functional on SCO OpenServer 5.0.0, 5.0.2, and 5.0.4,
SCO UnixWare 2.1.2, and the "Gemini" beta version of UnixWare 7.

Be sure to read the
JDK 1.1-1 Release Notes before attempting to install or use the product.
Please note that the "-1" suffix in the release number is an SCO addition;
this release corresponds to the Sun JDK 1.1, not the Sun JDK 1.1.1.
