The major number for hard drives is "1". The "hd" in "hd(40)xenix"
or "hd(40)unix" implies the major number of "1". Only one of the
four drives listed may have an active partition from which to call
the other partitions at the "boot :" prompt. See the (HW) section
of the manual and /etc/default/boot for information which will
allow you to select the default boot string for the various
partitions. This does not apply to MS-DOS. Only the first parti-
tion of Drive 0, formatted in MS-DOS 3.2 or 3.3 with a capacity of
32 MB or less, can be recognized by SCO products. At the "boot:"
prompt, you can type "dos" to access the MS-DOS partition.
